Rebecca Kelly Ballet features contemporary classical dancers and ballets performed on pointe. Ms. Kelly assembles a culturally diverse group of dancers, and her interests reflect her humanistic and international outlook.

92nd Street Y Afterschool Programs
The 92nd Street Y's Afterschool Program offers over 15 community service programs for middle and high school kids. Students can mentor younger children, help homeless New Yorkers affected by AIDS/HIV, cook for and feed the hungry, and lead other kids in sports or art activities. Many activities are open to all participants, while some, including tutoring and visits with senior citizens, are intended for high school students.

Brooklyn Arts Exchange
BAX/Brooklyn Arts Exchange -arts and artists in progress - is a multi-arts non-profit organization in Park Slope, Brooklyn, founded in 1991. BAX offers a full range of presenting -currently over 50 evenings each season -and educational programs for children and adults in dance, theater, performance art, and film/video.

New York Chinese Cultural Center
The New York Chinese Cultural Center offers after-school, weekend and summer classes in Asian dance, acrobatics, painting, calligraphy, origami, and Chinese Mandarin language.

DramaZone! and DramaZone Dance Studios
DramaZone! and DramaZone Dance Studios specialize in Dance and Drama Classes, Dramatic Birthday Party Extravaganzas, Kindergarten Interview Preparation as well as afterschool programs for children 4 months through 18 years of age.

KIDS CO-MOTION builds movement vocabulary, while playfully exploring music and a broad range of movement skills which build self esteem and confidence. The After School Program continues with increasingly formal training in creative movement, modern dance, ballet, and performance.

Ballet Academy East offers a Graded Level Ballet Program, Mother and Child Classes, Pre-ballet, Tap, Drama, Modern and Open Classes for adult students of all levels. The school's teaching philosophy is based on the premise that students thrive in a loving, positive and nurturing environment.

Brighton Ballet Theater
The Brighton Ballet Theater is both a professional Performing Company and academic dance academy. The Professional Performing Company is the primer Russian ballet and folk dance group in New York City. The dance school provides high quality dance education to children ages 2-19 and adults.  Ballet is taught using the Russian Method. Folk, Character, Modern, Popular, Ballroom and Latin dancing is taught as well.

Brooklyn Music School
The Brooklyn Music School provides instruction in music and dance,including rap and hip-hop poetry as well as professional performances. A summer Arts Camp is offered in July.

Embora Wellness and Movement Studio
Embora is a true wellness and movement-training center. In addition to offering both traditional and modern dance forms, it has an exceptional mind/body fitness component. Kids,  5-7 and 8-10 may participate in after-school classes ranging from yoga to pre-ballet, drama, and African dance. Hip Hop dance classes for kids ages 11-13 and 14-17 are also available. Oriental medicicine, massage therape, pilates, rock climbing and martial arts are available for adults.

Hip Hop Kidz
For the child who wants to be in a dance class, but ballet or tap are just too square. Their Performance Troupe has been in the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, halftime shows during the Heat basketball games and more. Classes currently offered at Champion Studios include Pee Weez ages three to five, Kidz ages five to 11, and Teenz ages 11-19.

Henry Street Settlement
Henry Street's core divisions include a multidisciplinary arts center, shelter and supportive services, behavioral and health services, senior services, home care services, a workforce development center, day care centers, and after school and summer programs for neighborhood youth.

Lucy Moses School
One of the country's most respected community schools for the arts, Lucy Moses School provides a multi-faceted arts education for children and adults at all levels of experience and skill. Programs include classes and private lessons in music, dance and theater.

Rhinelander Children's Center
Part of the Children's Aid Society, the Rhinelander Center offers numerous early childhood, nursery school, and afterschool programs.  Lessons in the Visual & Performing Arts (Ballet, chorus, Violin, Keyboard, Guitar, and Voice), Computers, Arts & Crafts, and more are on offer. There's a free Saturday program for deaf and hard of hearing children.  Summer programs include a mini-camp for 3-5 year olds and a Country Day Camp for 6-11 year olds.

West Side Dance Project
Comprehensive training for adults in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Theater Dance and Dance Exercise. Classes for children ages 3 through teen include Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Creative Movement, and Modern. Special summer sessions are also offered based upon demand.

Greenpoint YMCA
The Greenpoint Y offers an Afterschool Program, swimming classes, karate, ballet, Summer Camp, Sports Leagues, Birthday Party facilities, computer classes, Full and half-day Preschool, Holiday Camps, a Teen Center, Leaders Club, and Youth and Government (the latter both for teens).  There's also a Kids in Control Community Service program.  Guest rooms are available on a nightly and weekly basis.
