Prospect Park YMCA The Prospect Park Y offers activities, classes and programs in swimming, Karate, arts & crafts, cooking, music, reading, science and more. Two fitness centers boast cardio equipment, spinning bikes and strength machines. Further, the facility now offers 138 long-term Affordable Housing Units for low-income New Yorkers. These residents are provided a variety of programs including job training, computer training, nutrition workshops, gym instruction and a women's issues group. Recreational activities such as Bingo, monthly birthday celebrations and day trips are offered to residents. A visiting nurse provides health services bi-weekly. |
